ROCKET SWEEP BACK-TO-BACK AGAINST DEVILS WITH 5-2 VICTORY

BINGHAMTON (February 16, 2019) – Morgan Adams-Moisan netted his first American Hockey League goal and eight other Rocket players picked up at least a point in the Laval Rocket’s 5-2 victory over the Binghamton Devils at Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday night, which allowed the Rocket to pick up all four points against the divisional rival this weekend.

BELLEVILLE (February 9, 2019) – The Laval Rocket and the Belleville Senators played the second of their back-to-back games against one another at the CAA Arena in Belleville on Saturday night, where Belleville’s Drake Batherson scored a hat trick in the Senators’ 6-3 victory over the Rocket. Alex Kile scored two for the Rocket in the loss.

LAVAL (February 8, 2019) – Alex Belzile earned his 100th and 101st career American Hockey League points in the Laval Rocket’s 5-2 loss to the Belleville Senators at Place Bell on Friday night, where his assist on Xavier Ouellet’s third goal of the season gave him the milestone and his own goal late in the third added to the achievement. The game was the first of a back-to-back between the two teams, as they will play one another again tomorrow night at Belleville’s CAA Arena.

TORONTO (February 2, 2019) – The Laval Rocket and the Toronto Marlies gave the busload of Rocket fans who made the trip from Laval to the Coca-Cola Coliseum a tight, entertaining game on Saturday afternoon, as an early goal for the Marlies held as the only one until the final two minutes of play. Connor LaCouvee made 24 saves in the Rocket’s loss, while Kasimir Kaskisuo turned away all of Laval’s 33 shots.

TORONTO (February 1, 2019) – It took 62 minutes and nine seconds to determine a winner between the Laval Rocket and the Toronto Marlies at the Coca-Cola Coliseum on Friday night, as the two goaltenders battled for their shutouts in their teams’ first of two games against one another this weekend. The Marlies took the game 1-0 in overtime.

LAVAL (January 16, 2019) – The hot streaks of Daniel Audette, Jake Evans, Alex Belzile and Xavier Ouellet as well as of the Rocket’s special teams continued on Wednesday night at Place Bell and propelled the Laval Rocket to a 4-2 victory over the Belleville Senators. Laval’s powerplay was three-for-three on the night, and Ouellet and Belzile each picked up a point while Audette picked up two and Evans three in the win over the divisional rival. The Rocket recent performances combined with tonight’s victory puts the team just three points out of a playoff spot.

The atmosphere at Place Bell in Laval was vibrant that night, and the air was buzzing with excitement. The Montreal Canadiens’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Laval Rocket, played their inaugural game against the Belleville Senators that evening, with a sellout crowd of 10,000 cheering them on.

A SURPRISE FOR THE ENTRAIDE PONT-VIAU ET LAVAL-DES-RAPIDES COMMUNITY CENTRE

LAVAL (December 22, 2017) – In the spirit of the holidays, the players of the Laval Rocket surprised some less fortunate families at the Entraide Pont-Viau et Laval-Des-Rapides community centre Thursday afternoon. Accompanied by the team mascot Cosmo, over 10 Rocket players took advantage of the opportunity to talk to the families, pose for memorable photos and distribute gifts to the children and their parents just a few days ahead of Christmas.

THE ROCKET CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS WITH A WEEK OF AID AND GENEROSITY

Laval (December 10, 2017) – The holidays are a time to rejoice and celebrate, but it also represents the perfect time to give back to those less fortunate. The Rocket took advantage of the occasion to hold the Food Drive game, in collaboration with the Centre de bénévolat and Moisson Laval, to collect non-perishable goods to be given to Laval families in need. The generosity of the 5,037 fans in attendance for the December 6th game against the Binghamton Devils helped the team raise more than 1,250 kg of non-perishable goods.
