LACOUVEE MAKES 35 SAVES IN 2-1 SHOOTOUT LOSS TO COMETS

UTICA (March 22, 2019) – Connor LaCouvee led the Laval Rocket to a point during their 2-1 shootout loss to the Utica Comets at the Adirondack Bank Center on Friday night, as the Laval netminder turned away 35 of the 36 shots he faced against their divisional rival. Though the many penalties against them broke the Rocket’s momentum, the penalty killers also contributed to the point as they kept the Comets’ powerplay off the board during their six powerplay opportunities.

ROCKET COME FROM BEHIND TO DEFEAT BRUINS 3-2 IN 8-ROUND SHOOTOUT

LAVAL (March 20, 2019) – The Laval Rocket proved once again on Wednesday night that they are a team who never gives up, as they came back from behind twice to defeat the Providence Bruins 3-2 in an eight-round shootout at Place Bell. Daniel Audette and Cale Fleury netted the two regulation goals for the Rocket in the game, while Audette, Michael Pezzetta, and Hunter Shinkaruk netted the shootout goals.

LACOUVEE MAKES 31 SAVES IN ROCKET 3-2 SHOOTOUT WIN OVER SENATORS

BELLEVILLE (March 15, 2019) – The Laval Rocket played the first of two very important back-to-back games against the divisional rival Belleville Senators on Friday night at the CAA Arena, where the Rocket defeated the Senators by a score of 3-2 in a shootout. The Rocket powerplay was two-for-four in the win, and their penalty kill was perfect.

ROCKET OVERCOME TWO-GOAL DEFICIT AND DEFEAT THUNDERBIRDS 3-2 IN OVERTIME

SPRINGFIELD (March 23 2019) – The Rocket visited the Springfield Thunderbirds for their second game of the weekend and Joël Bouchard’s troops, with 12 rookies in the lineup, demonstrated their maturity and character once again by coming back from a two-goal deficit to defeat their opponents 3-2 in overtime. Rocket captain Xavier Ouellet was the one to net the game-winner in the extra frame.

LAVAL (July 12, 2018) – The Laval Rocket announced today a partnership with the Service de police de Laval
(SPL) for the Parcours des héros, an event on September 8 at the Centre de la nature de Laval benefitting Special
Olympics Quebec. The third edition of this event which emphasizes courage and teamwork will feature Mark
Weightman, the vice-president of development and operations at Place Bell, as the official spokesperson.
