Jean Huynh Appointed as Assistant Equipment Manager

LAVAL (August 5, 2022) – The Laval Rocket announced on Friday the appointment of Jean Huynh as assistant equipment manager.

Huynh has been working in the hockey environment since 2011.

From 2013 to 2017, Huynh joined the university ranks as equipment manager for the McGill University Martlets.

In 2017, he served as equipment manager for Team Canada at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in 2017 (team white).

From 2017 to 2018, Huynh served as equipment manager with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). He also served as equipment manager with the Sherbrooke Phoenix from 2018 to 2021.

Huynh finally joined the Trois-Rivieres Lions in the ECHL in 2021 to take on the role of equipment manager.

The Rocket is also adding Anastasio Abbandonato to its team as locker room attendant. Abbandonato previously served as equipment manager for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
