Rocket agree to terms on a one-year, one-way AHL contract with forwards Riley McKay and John Parker-Jones

The Laval Rocket announced on Tuesday that the team has agreed to terms on a one-year, one-way AHL contract (2023-24) with forwards Riley McKay and John Parker-Jones.

McKay, 24 (6’00’’ and 203 lbs) recorded two goals and five assists in 23 games with the Rocket last season.

A native of Swan River, Manitoba, McKay was acquired from the Rockford IceHogs at the beginning of the 2021-22 season.

Parker-Jones, 23 (6’07’’ and 230 lbs) recorded two goals and one assist in 20 games with the Rocket last season.

A native of Brantford, Ontario, Parker-Jones signed his first contract (AHL two-way) with the Laval Rocket in October 2022.
