Six Important Moments in 2022-23

The schedule for the 2022-2023 season of the Laval Rocket was unveiled on Thursday, July 21.

The 72-game season will start on October 14th at Place Bell and will end on April 14th in Laval.

Here are six important moments to remember:

Home Opener presented by Bell

The Laval Rocket will be back in action on Friday, October 14, at 7 p.m. at Place Bell in Laval. For a third consecutive season, the Laval Rocket’s first opponents will be the Belleville Senators. The Home Opener presented by Bell will be an opportunity to see several Montreal Canadiens prospects in action. It will be the return of several members of the 2021-2022 edition, which reached the Eastern Conference Finals last June as well.

Reunion With the Springfield Thunderbirds

After facing them in the Eastern Conference Finals in the 2022 playoffs, the Rocket will meet up with the Thunderbirds very early in the season. On Wednesday, October 19th, the two teams will face off at Place Bell at 7p.m.

All-Star Classic presented by Bell in collaboration with Manulife

On February 5 and 6, 2023, the stars of the American Hockey League will come to Place Bell to showcase their talent and skills.

School Break in Laval

The Rocket will be in action three times during school break in Laval. The Rocket will take on the Americans on Wednesday, March 1 and Friday, March 3 before closing out the week at Place Bell on Saturday, March 4 against the Rockford Icehogs.

Going West

Twice during the season, the team will travel to face teams in the Western Association. On the first weekend of December (12/03-12/04), the Rocket will be in Abbotsford to take on the Vancouver Canucks affiliated. Later in the season, the team will head west again for a four-game road trip against the Manitoba Moose (03/26-03/28). They will then cross the border to meet the Icehogs in Rockford (03/31) and then the Admirals in Milwaukee (04/01).

Last Game

The Rocket will close out their 2022-23 season, at Bell Place against division rivals, as the Crunch will be in town.
