28 PLAYERS TO ATTEND THE LAVAL ROCKET TRAINING CAMP

LAVAL (October 3, 2021) – The Laval Rocket announced on Sunday that 28 players will participate in the 2021-22 training camp. Players will report to camp today for team meetings, physicals and fitness testing, as well as equipment fitting. They are scheduled to hit the ice for the first on-ice session at Place Bell on Monday, starting at 10:30 a.m. Rocket training camp at Place Bell will be closed to the public.

The list of players attending training camp on day one includes three goaltenders, nine defensemen and 16 forwards. Six players have been invited to camp on tryout basis. Josh Brook and Joel Teasdale will remain on the Canadiens roster (injured non-roster). They will however continue their recovery period with the Rocket in Laval.

Preseason Games

The Laval Rocket will travel to Belleville to square off against the Belleville Senators and the Toronto Marlies for two preseason games on October 8 and 9, at 7 p.m. at CAA Arena.
